How We Cooperate

Esports.NGO supports partners from early concept to strategy, research, campaigns, public funding, implementation and impact reporting.

Governments, brands and institutions often want to enter esports or gaming but lack market understanding and trusted guidance.

We advise on:

  • National esports development
  • Gaming and youth policy
  • Cybersecurity in gaming
  • Digital wellbeing
  • Age assurance and youth protection
  • Esports education strategy
  • Grassroots ecosystem design
  • CSR through gaming
  • Public-private partnerships
  • International cooperation

Esports is often misunderstood by decision-makers, teachers, parents and corporate teams.

We create:

  • Workshops
  • Training programmes
  • Bootcamps
  • Executive briefings
  • Parent education
  • Teacher training
  • Youth ambassador programmes
  • Federation capacity-building
  • Government and municipality training
  • Corporate learning sessions

Many esports initiatives become one-off tournaments with no lasting educational, social or safety value.

We design and implement complete programmes around:

  • Cybersecurity in gaming
  • Safe play
  • School esports
  • Youth digital wellbeing
  • Girls in gaming
  • Grassroots leagues
  • AI literacy
  • Road safety through sim-racing
  • Parent and teacher engagement
  • National campaigns
  • Community chapters

Traditional awareness campaigns often fail to reach young people.

We use gaming culture, esports, creators, tournaments and schools to make important topics visible and understandable.

Campaign themes can include:

  • Cybersecurity in gaming
  • Anti-harassment
  • Anti-hate speech
  • Cyberbullying prevention
  • Safe play
  • Age-appropriate access
  • Digital wellbeing
  • AI literacy
  • Online scams
  • Parent awareness
  • Road safety through sim-racing

Decision-makers need better evidence on youth gaming behaviour, digital safety, online harms, community culture and regulation.

We collaborate with universities and research centres on:

  • Youth gaming behaviour studies
  • Cybersecurity risk research
  • Online harassment research
  • Hate speech and gaming communities
  • Age assurance studies
  • Digital wellbeing research
  • Parent and teacher perception studies
  • Impact evaluation
  • Policy briefs
  • White papers

Public funding often requires strong consortiums, cross-sector expertise and implementation partners.

We join and build international projects with NGOs, universities, public institutions, schools, technology companies, federations and youth organisations.

Where we fit in a public-grant project

Most of our work happens inside publicly funded projects — Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, CERV, the Internal Security Fund and national schemes. We can join at any stage, in the role a consortium actually needs: expert contributor, work-package lead, delivery partner or long-term partner.

  1. Call identification & fit We help map open funding calls to your goals and assess where a gaming or youth digital-safety angle genuinely strengthens the bid.
  2. Concept & consortium design We shape the project concept and help assemble a balanced consortium across NGOs, universities, public bodies and industry.
  3. Work-package design We define work packages, tasks, milestones and deliverables, and scope the role each partner plays.
  4. Proposal writing We co-write the parts we can evidence: problem framing, the gaming and youth-safety components, and dissemination.
  5. Impact & evaluation logic We build the theory of change, indicators and evaluation approach so impact can be measured, not just asserted.
  6. Delivery & implementation We deliver our work packages — programmes, campaigns, workshops, research and community activity — in one country or across several.
  7. Technology-enabled implementation Where a project needs digital tools — age assurance, safety, identity, analytics — we help specify requirements, select partners and co-design responsibly.
  8. Monitoring & reporting We track indicators, gather evidence and contribute to the reporting the funder requires.
  9. Dissemination & communication We turn results into public-facing outputs — briefs, articles, events and campaigns — that reach young people and decision-makers.
  10. Sustainability & scale We help plan what continues after the grant: follow-on funding, adoption by institutions and long-term partnerships.

We take on a work-package lead or coordinator role only where our capacity genuinely fits the task — otherwise we contribute as an expert or delivery partner.

Let’s build the future of positive gaming together.

Gaming is shaping the next generation. The question is whether we leave it to grow by accident — or build it with purpose.
